As a visionary and explorer the host has led quite an extraordinarily unique, colourful and interesting life, to date, which has culminated in the gaining of experiences, skills and wisdom in a wide range of areas and fields.

Blessed to retire at an early age, they now focus on pursuing their passions, creativity and hobbies, mainly with regards to writing, photography, travelling and restoration and renovation projects.

They would best be described as kindhearted and friendly as well as mildly eccentric and are someone who enjoys life and loves the 'craic' (Northern Irish humour)
Being something of a traditionalist they would still believe in chivalry, gentlemanly manners, loyalty and protecting those close to them.
Having experienced both triumph and trauma in their lifetime, they would be considered very much a realist who has lived life in the real world, rather than a superficial, fantasist bubble and as such tend to have a forthright, straight talking personality.

Likewise, having long since discovered the true meaning, purpose and plan for their life, they are both free and secure in the identity of who they are, what they are doing and where they are doing it, no longer being that, once lost and empty soul, searching and seeking aimlessly and exhaustively through life, somehow trying to find themselves and figure it all out.
They also have a very passionate heart that tends to be worn on their sleeve and one that emphasises, trust, honesty and integrity and cares about injustices.

Another of the hosts greatest passions is meeting new people and in the right company they love to chat and very much enjoy varied and interesting conversational exchanges.

Since their late teens, the host has pursued their passion for travelling and not only visited but also extensively explored upwards of fifty individual countries in the world, some of which many times.

Particularly they enjoy road trips and have a small personally converted retro camper van, that they regularly make use of for wild camping.
They have also driven three times around the entire continent of Australia, once for five months living out of the back of a very old and rickety station wagon car and have been twelve times to South Africa where they visit regularly and also are an annual six month winter visitor to the Cote d'Azur, in the South of France.

When not living on the French Riviera, the host mainly resides on the equally iconic, Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.

However, despite their passion for travel, they are at the same time a consistent, committed and settled person who still likes to have their roots firmly planted somewhere.
